The Blue Care program 100% compensates all remaining CO2 production with the Gold Standard carbon-credits. Besides that, this program supports the research on CO2 reduction in cooperation with renown research institutes all over the world.
This means that all money is invested into ecological energy, such as wind farm projects in developing countries. These projects bear the quality label Gold Standard, which is an ecological quality label set for CO2 reduction projects. The label was developed together with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF).
Thanks to these investments the developing countries and emerging markets are able to cover their rapidly growing energy consumption with ecologically produced energy.
